Privacy Policy

Effective from: 18 August 2026

This document describes how personal data is processed in connection with the nedotech.eu website and the services provided, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on Personal Data Processing.

1. Data controller

Services are provided under the business name Nedotech. No data protection officer has been appointed; the controller is not required to appoint one.

2. What data we process and why

a) Questions, requests and communication

Data entered into the contact form is transmitted to the website server and delivered to the operator’s email inbox when the form is submitted. We may process the same data if you contact us directly by email.

When communicating about a request, we may process:

  • name and surname,
  • email address,
  • phone number (if provided),
  • company name (if provided),
  • information about the requested project.

Purpose: responding to your message or question, handling a request, preparing an offer and negotiating a contract. Legal basis: steps taken prior to entering into a contract at the data subject’s request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

b) Contract performance

For customers, we process identification, contact and billing data and data necessary for providing the agreed service (access credentials, technical communication).

Purpose: contract performance, invoicing, technical support. Legal basis: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

c) Legitimate interests

To the extent necessary, we also process data for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims and for infrastructure security. Web server logs may contain, in particular, the IP address, request time, requested URL and browser identification.

Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Retention

  • Requests that do not lead to a contract: for the duration of negotiations and subsequently for no more than 12 months after the last communication.
  • Contractual documentation and related communication: for the duration of the contract and subsequently for the limitation periods (usually 3 years, at most 10 years).
  • Accounting and tax records: for the periods required by law (5 years under the Accounting Act, 10 years under the VAT Act).

4. Recipients

We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Processors or recipients may only be:

  • the website and contact-form backend, operated on Nedotech’s own physical server in the Czech Republic,
  • WEDOS Internet, a.s., as the email hosting provider,
  • Cloudflare, Inc., as the DNS and reverse-proxy provider in front of the website; when processing HTTP requests, it may process online identifiers, in particular the IP address, requested URL, request time and technical browser information,
  • public authorities where required by law.

We do not share personal data with an external accountant or tax adviser.

The Nedotech server is operated in the Czech Republic. Cloudflare uses a global network; where Cloudflare is used, personal data may be transferred or made accessible outside the EU/EEA. Such transfers are governed by the provider’s contractual and organisational safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

5. Cookies and browser technical storage

The nedotech.eu website does not use analytics or marketing cookies, advertising pixels or third-party tracking tools. During a normal visit, the website does not create or read any cookies.

To remember a website preference explicitly selected by a visitor, we only use the browser’s technical storage (localStorage):

  • theme - stores light or dark only after a manual colour-mode change;
  • nedotech-language - stores cs or en only after a manual language selection.

This information is used solely to display the preference selected by the visitor again. It contains no identifying data, is not sent from the browser to our server or to third parties, and is not used for analytics, profiling or advertising. It remains in the browser until the visitor deletes it or clears browser data.

This is technical storage required for a website function requested by the visitor; we therefore do not request consent through a cookie banner. The settings can be removed at any time in the browser settings by clearing data for nedotech.eu.

If we decide to use analytics, marketing or other non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will obtain separate, freely given and withdrawable consent before activating them.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data (Art. 15),
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16),
  • erasure (“right to be forgotten”, Art. 17),
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18),
  • data portability (Art. 20),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).

You can exercise your rights by email at [email protected]. We will respond without undue delay, at the latest within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, www.uoou.cz.

7. Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.

We may update this document, for example when the services used or legal regulations change. The current version is always available on this page.
